Too Hot to Ride!

Here in NC it is HOT! It is September and too hot to ride. So instead, Carly painted her horse. This taught her about her horse and how to be safe around it. Leighton helped too. They used brushes and then just started using their hands to make Flicka pretty. Carly enjoyed the painting, but her favorite was washing it off. She was very careful not to spray the water in Flicka's face and used the squeegie to get all the water off. She is becoming a true horseman er girl. Check out Flicka's toenails. The girls gave her painted hooves.
