Myrtle Beach

I could call this 'Our Fun Family Vacation', but that would be a lie. I could truthfully call it 'The Vacation Where Dee threatened to put Jensyn back where she came from (more than once).'

We stayed at a wonderful resort in North Myrtle Beach. The girls especially like the splash park.
Note the very large bucket at the top.

Note said bucket is now dumping.People below are drenched. The last time we came here Dee held each girl under the bucket. They hated it.But, they love the water slides. They are just big enough to be fun without being scary.
Even Scaredy Leighton will go down by herself. This kid would grow gills if it were possible.Dee took Jensyn down a couple of times. She said she liked it, but the pictures prove otherwise. If you asked her if she wanted to go again she always said no, but when asked if she liked it, said yes.The girls love the ocean and want to go far out.Jensyn doesn't love the waves and prefers to stay on the beach....and eat sand.Carly and Leighton were so excited to sleep in their couch bed. I think they enjoyed this almost as much as the water. After the screaming from combing out horrid knots, The next morning, we opted for a ponytail for Carly.and pigtails for Bo Derek Leighton.Jensyn opted for the contrary, almost two year old, look complimented with the attitude of a cornered possum. The girls were treated to (l to r) a horse, a cat and a sword. No, I can't tell the difference between the horse and the cat either. We also did some beach combing and brought home lots of shells.

Just a little example of the awful, horrible, terrible, no good two year old Jensyn has become: On the way home, she is sitting in the back seat. She is in the center of Leighton and Carly. She has her hands behind her head just relaxing. For no apparent reason she reaches out and whacks Carly right up side the head. It was hard enough that Carly started to cry. She put her hand back behind her head, never changing her facial expression. How do I know this? Dee could see her in the mirror. He scolded, 'Jensyn, why did you hit Carly? We don't hit. No, hit!' She looked at him in the mirror and in her high pitched, sing song voice said, 'No, no.' Dee said, 'I saw you in the mirror!' She never changed her postioning or her facial expression and just continued to deny any wrong doing. We are SO in for it with this one.
Question....Are they the worst one because they are the last one? or Are they the last one because they are the worst one?
