She was very cautious of her cake, but eventually (when Grandma fed her with a fork) she really enjoyed it.
Grandpa and Grandma gave her a swing set for her birthday. It is almost finished and she is very excited.
(With three girls, there is not much she needs or wants, so we aren't sure what to get her)

The swingset will be a great present- don't feel bad that you couldn't think of the perfect present. She is ONE, after all.
You are such a good blogger. It just updated myself for the past month or so. Wow! A swingset for a birthday present is pretty awesome! She doesn't need anything else now! And I think you should make chili burritos at your house.:) Some of the weird things my family ate I have converted Chris to and vice versa. So it's kind of a mix of the two families.
