I weeded this flower bed yesterday.

Dee went out this morning to put a letter in the mailbox and called me out to see this! .jpg)

So much for weeding the rest of the yard. I won't go out there until the frost. Snakes hibernate.

What kind of snake is it?
It is a black rat snake. They kill rats and mice.
Sick. I hate snakes.
I think I'd rather have a snake around and then rats. So, maybe he's a good thing to have around.
The best snakes are the black king snakes. They eat rats, mice and other snakes.
AWESOME! Especially if it eats mice. Yikes. I hate mice.
